Rico’s TV Documentary premiers 11/25 on SBS6
Starting Monday, November 25th, in a five-part reality documentary entitled RICO, everyone will be able to witness the most eventful and exciting year in the life of world-famous kickboxer Rico Verhoeven. The main focus of the series, which gives an inimate look into his life, is Glory Collision II against Badr Hari on 21 December 2019, certainly concidered as the fight of the century. Every fan wants to know – Will Rico beat Badr Hari again? Will he still remain the undefeated World Champion?
For months now, Rico has been working on the very best version of himself, maintaining an extremely strict training regime. Fans wonder what discipline, mindset and hardship he’s experiencing. And how does he combine his full professional schedule with family life? As a family man, he obviously wants to spend as much time as possible with his wife and three young children. Never before has Rico Verhoeven revealed so much about his life to, both privately and professionally, to the public and entirely uncensored: What you see is what you get. RICO premiers November 25th at 21.30 on SBS6.
This past year, cameras have been following Rico’s every move. The man who always tries to get the most out of himself gives a unique view of his daily life. Personal, raw and unpolished. Each episode of RICO builds on to the big fight on 21 December, where he is face to face with Badr Hari for the second time. In the series, the viewer is also acquainted with the team behind Rico: his trainers, his manager, his coaches, his friends and of course his family.
In addition to his preparations for the already much-debated battle, Rico’s other career is also extensively addressed. With his starring role in the Hollywood film The Black Lotus, an action feature film that he also co-produces, comes a long-cherished dream.
