London Loy (1974) is not the run-of-the-mill chef: he’s a raw and colorful personality with distinct styling. His unique cooking style blends street food and refined recipes from various cuisines until passion oozes.

Although born and raised in Amsterdam, London’s exotic looks are rooted in Suriname. The passion for nutrition dates from the early nineties, but he also stood out for his athletic abilities as a top-level hurdle sprinter. Besides cooking and sports, London has a keen eye for photography and shoots his dishes, as well as portraits for various magazines.

You can catch London and his sensational recipes daily on Koffietijd, a nationally televised afternoon show. He has also appeared in various TV programs such as the Food Truck Challenge, Top Chef Academy, Herman Against The Rest and showed off his moves on Dance Dance Dance.

As if London isn’t busy enough, he is also the personal chef for GLORY Heavyweight Kickboxing World Champion Rico Verhoeven during training camps. In 2020 London also published his first cookbook filled with signature recipes and photographs through Carrera Culinair Books.
