Sven signs first professional contract

Yesterday, with his close family and girlfriend by his side,  Sven has signed his first professional contract with Feyenoord until the end of the ‘20-’21 season. 

‘Signing this contract feels like a reward’, Sven said. Also Feyenoord’s technical director was very pleased. ‘It’s great once again we’ve been able to contract a home grown player. Now it’s up to him’.

This is already Sven’s 10th season at the Feyenoord Academy. He came over from Excelsior’20 in Schiedam when he was only 9 years old and from the start of this season he’s part of the U21 team. It’s been his childhood dream to play in the Kuip one day. Today that dream came one step closer!
