Björn Hardley has signed with FC Dordrecht. The 23-year-old defender joins the club on a free transfer from TSV Hartberg and links up immediately with the squad of head coach Dirk Kuyt. Hardley has agreed to a contract running until mid-2027, with an option for an additional season.

Born on December 19, 2002 in Tilburg, Hardley began his football journey at local amateur clubs before joining the academy of NAC Breda at the age of twelve. His development there led to a move to Manchester United, where the left-footed defender made close to fifty appearances for the club’s U23 side.

Hardley is no stranger to Dutch professional football. In the summer of 2023, he signed with Jong FC Utrecht, gaining valuable experience in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. After a spell in Austria with TSV Hartberg, he now returns to the Netherlands to continue his career at FC Dordrecht.

Speaking about his move, Hardley is eager to get started. He sees FC Dordrecht as a club with ambition and a clear vision, a place where he can keep developing while contributing to the team’s sporting objectives.

We are proud to support Björn in this next step and look forward to seeing him in action at the Krommedijk.
