We are proud to announce that last Saturday Rico Verhoeven successfully defended his world title for the tenth time against Jamal Ben Saddik at the GelreDome in Arnhem to remain the heavy weight champion. Rico has been the champion since 2013 and defended his title for a record breaking 10 consecutive times.

Both fighters gave everything but the way in which Rico beat Jamal Ben Saddik in this event with a heavily swollen eye, immediately became his most memorable and iconic victory.

After Saturday’s spectacular win over Jamal Ben Saddik, he was compared to the character Rocky Balboa. We are very proud of Rico and the whole team!
