Sven Zitman (20) has signed a contract with PEC Zwolle until mid-2024. The midfielder has been training for quite some time and recently made his debut in the league match against FC Dordrecht. He comes over from the youth academy of Feyenoord.

He was a free agent and has been training frequently with Dick Schreuder’s team lately. He is currently playing the matches for under 21. “He is an important player there”, says technical director Marcel Boudesteyn. ,,Sven is a promising midfielder who has been trained at a top club. At PEC Zwolle he can be of value in our midfield in the future and he is already showing that he has the ambition to become a starting eleven player.”

Zitman is happy with his chance in Zwolle. ,,The group of players has taken good care of me and there is a healthy form of competition within the selection that only makes each player stronger individually. I also like to take on that competition with the aim of becoming a starting player here in the coming years.”
